“Building Bridges & Breaking Barriers”

An interactive round table discussion – Breaking Barriers and Building Bridges to contribute towards our vision of the development of future generations, proactive in attending to the needs to empower women of our community and the nation at large, was held at the International Center for Ethnic Studies (ICES) on Sunday 9^th February, 2020.

Our main focus is to be the unified voice and platform for the women of our community.

Over 35 women invitees from all ethnic groups participated in this interactive discussion. Living in a multi-ethnic population, we need to build bridges, break down barriers and mend fences so that we can maintain peace and harmony in our mother land.  As women who are the care-takers of the nation, we will do whatever it takes to make our vision possible.  At the end of the current COVID19 crisis, we hope to continue meetings of this nature on a regular basis .
